Homes not hospitals

NHS England commissions the Small Supports Programme nationally, for local systems to be able to benefit from this innovative and bespoke model of care. The purpose of the programme is to provide support to people with a learning disability and autistic people who have experienced long stays in mental health hospital, through a service designed around the person, enabling them to live a healthy and fulfilling life outside of a hospital setting. This film tells the story of Mark, who was supported by Unique Support Solutions to return to community to live a rich and fulfilling life after many years in hospital.

The Impact of Advocacy

Produced on behalf of Learning Disability England and Speakup Self-Advocacy, this film tells the story of how self-advocacy has influenced and changed the lives of many people with a learning disability, helping them to become empowered to speak up for their rights and needs. Not only does the film show the impact self-advocacy has had on the lives of people with a learning disability, but also the impact that people with a learning disability have been able to have on the wider world.

Type 2 diabetes Skills for Living course for people with a learning disability and autistic people

The North East and Cumbria Learning Disability Network have worked with partners across the region to develop a six week, reasonably adjusted structured education course for people with a learning disability and autistic people who have a type 2 diabetes diagnosis. In this film Natalie talks about how the course has helped her lose weight, eat healthier food and understand more about her diabetes. CFMedia has over 20 years experience in creating bespoke educational and information videos and animations which have been used nationally and internationally.

We have worked with numerous public and private sector organisations including but not limited to Google, NHS England, Arthritis UK, The Energy Redress, The World Academy of Medical Leadership, Rotherham United Community Sport Trust, Speakup Self Advocacy and Macmillan Cancer Support.

With exceptional skills in the development and creation of accessible films for disabled people, creating over 30 films for people with learning disabilities and autistic people.

We have recently been commissioned to produce a series of 12 exercise films for Arthritis UK for their “Let’s Move With Leon” programme. To date over 53,000 people have signed up and accessed this programme. It has also been credited by the UKs leading Think Tank 'Policy Exchange' in their recent report 'A Wait On Your Mind!' which sets out a realistic proposal for tackling the elective NHS backlog.

Our team has skills in project management, Adobe Premier and Final Cut Editing suites together with Adobe After Effects and proficiency in the use of many camera systems from DSLR to broadcast capable cameras, we can help you with all aspects of video production to suit your needs and budget
